I left a battery in my D60 for 2-3 weeks and found it dead. Is that normal or wasn't it really fully charged as I thought?

there have been reports in the past about people having a problem with battery drain under a couple of conditions...
...leaving the IS turned on on the lens ....changing IS or USM lenses with the power on...even though you turn the camera off, it seems to trickly power out to the lens. .....popping out the CF card while the camera is still on. Like the lens item above, D30s have had a problem with a slight drain when you do this, even though you turn the camera off. I'm hoping they fixed these items on the D60, but it's a possible place to look. |
