I am a new member in this forum. I bought the Canon 350D with the (kit) lens EF-S 18-55 f/3.5-5.6. I am amateur photographer, using the camera mainly in trips and journeys.
I decided to buy an "inexpensive" zoom lens (from 18mm or 28mm) up to 200mm focal length. A larger zoom (ex. 300mm) causes difficulties such as: 1) stable hand or image stabiliser and 2) the 300mm in 350D tallies with 480mm in Film-SLR.
I ended in the following lenses:
1. Canon EF 55-200 f/4.5-5.6 II

2. Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 DC

3. Tamron AF18-200mm F/3,5-6,3 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) MACRO

4. Sigma 28-200mm f/3.5-5.6 DG MACRO

More credits in the last one because it can be used both in D-SLR and Film-SLR and it has f/3.5.

Can you help me?!
