Default Canon Lenses for EOS-10D ??

I am considering getting into digital photography. The EOS-300D sounds like a great deal (especially with the 18-55mm lens). Another dSLR I am considering is the EOS-10D (more features / settings / flexibility / etc...). What would you recommend for lenses. Like the EOS-300D, I would like to be able to go from 24-28mm up to 200-300mm in 35mm equivalent (keeping in mind the 1.6x factor).

IMO you should get that EF-S 18-55mm, and invest in a better long lens:
