Hi all,

I was wondering, I have a friend who has just purchased a Canon 450D DSLR camera.

I have a friend of a friend who originally had the Canon EOS 350D and he has a spare telephoto lens that he wants to sell cheaply..

Would this telephoto lens fit on the Canon 450D?

I have no idea on what size the lens threads are?

Any help is much appreciated..

Any of the EOS lenses would fit the Canon dSLRs currently.

There are some bad telephoto lenses out there so it is worth checking what it is before making a purchase.

Not really a problem as he only wants £20 for it so its got to be a bargain for that anyway

He also has this lens which he has just found in his cupboard as well

SIGMA 28-300 mm 3.5-6.3 DG MACRO Telephoto Canon Fit

Even though it says Canon fit would this fit onto the Canon 450D??

Yes, it will fit fine. It's not the greatest lens again but you will be able to get photos with it.
