Default Sales of the day: EF 50mm F1.8 II for $89

For those who are thinking about buying the Canon EF 50mm f1.8 II, there is your chance of saving $10 from the regular price of $99 from J & R.

And to think I spent $69 for this lens like 4 years ago from B&H... normal price, same lens. Aren't these kinda things supposed to go down in price with time?
More of my thoughts and opinions on can be found on my blog. I also like to post my photos on Flickr. Smilez, Mark.

Normally, no (new lenses have been increasing over time for the most part, especially some of the made in Japan lenses). Keep in mind you've had inflation since then, as well as exchange rate differences going on with the global economy.
