Here things are a little different than in the UK. They do formal studio shots prior to the wedding (makeup and hair are fresh) so will be going to a studio as per the engagement, although not the same one as he was a bit of an idiot.... tried to supply really poor quality prints, basically the editing wasn't good, but from the work in his studio I knew that he could be very good. So they did them again, but not until I had visited and prior to that he had given my fiancee and her mum a hard time..... not good customer service!

So we are down to two options in the selection process, both look pretty good so far, but want to see the inside of the studio of the second and meet the photographer as I've only seen his portfolio so far.

In the church we will use a local photog who does a reasonable job..... as the studio stuff is the main gig they are not so hot on the ceremony shots, but I'm happy with that. I will also have some friends there and one is a wedding photo (if she can make it) so will give her the freedom to move around and shoot too. That should cover most things.

A professional wedding photographer gives the bride and her mother a hard time. I'm impressed.
