Default Lens usage and stats

After finding my favorite Sigma lenses have been updated I went to my catalog to research how much I actually use them.

Got a surprise, and it is not the lenses fault!

Both the old Microsoft Expression Media (my old DAM) and LightRoom 3 (my new DAM) are reporting the 120-300 correctly when used by itself.

But then the trouble starts, when it had a matched TC attached (which I do a lot) both programs are reporting it as a 100-300 lens.
They are both correctly applying the multiplier, however you cannot search on the effective focal length.

Would not be so bad except I also have an actual 100-300, so it is not easy to pull out images done with just that particular 120-300 lens .

Anyone have a way to pull out all images done with that lens, TC attached or not ?

I note that it is also reported different by my old 20D and XTi than it is by the 5d-mkii.
The 20D and XTi are showing as a 120.0-300.0 and he 5d-mkii is showing it as a 120-300 , a minor difference, though slightly annoying.

Imaging is all about light and your ability to sculpt it.
Equipment is just a secondary nuisance.
