Hello..Is this a good lens for my Canon EOS 70D..I bought the camera Body only figuring the kit lens is not always the best lens to get with the camera..Thanks

The Canon 18-55 STM is pretty good for a kit lens, but where their ranges overlap, the Sigma 17-50/2.8 has less vignetting and chromatic aberration, and is sharper than the Canon kit lens. Plus, it's up to two stops faster.
