Default 24-70 vs 24-105

Other than the obvious longer zoom, are there any advantages or disadvantages to the 24-70 f4 and the 24-105 f4 made by canon?

According to SLRGear.com, on a 'Full Frame' body, the 24-105/4 has a lot more distortion than the 24-70/4.
  • The lens is the thing.
  • 'Full Frame' is the new 'Medium Format'.
