Default Best uses for a 24-70 2.8f lens

I would love to read your replies to this question:

What are the best situations to use a 24-70 2.8f lens?

For example, I'm told that an 85mm lens is fantastic for use as a portrait lens of a single subject.

In what settings are you likely to use your 24-70 lens on a full frame camera?

I'd say that, on a 'Full Frame' body, the 24-70 is a good 'Couples Portrait' lens and a good 'Event' lens.
  • The lens is the thing.
  • 'Full Frame' is the new 'Medium Format'.
