I have just bought the Canon 16-35mm L, and love it! But, I forgot to buy a UV/protection filter. I'm a bit concerned that if I stick a filter on this lens, it will cause vignetting at the 16mm end. I see that Hoya (and probably others) make a slim 'pro' filter range. I want the filter on at all times, mainly for protection purposes.

Anyone else do this? And what filters can I go for?

Hoya Pro 1 is one of the best filter you can buy, try filterhouse.com or filterconnection.com :-)

I usually purchase from www.2filters.com. Good prices and very helpful. They carry B&W, Hoya and Tiffen. I like Hoya filter already listed.
