I already have the Tamron AF 28-75mm f2.8 XR Di Zoom, do you think this is another good lens to add? I've found that I have to back up while taking shots with this lens in the house - and in some areas, that's kinda difficult, LOL!

I take some close ups (flowers, people, pets, including group shots)
Cars (shows, etc)
Landscape (trees, leaves, outside portraits)

Oh. I have 1 dog who literally runs from the camera. He hates it - which causes me to get some blurred shots. I'm sure it's mostly my inexperience, but I could use the help.

I'm thinking the wide angle might be good for indoor group photos, and for those times when my 117 pound male Akita hides under the living room coffee table to avoid having his picture taken.
