Hi there. I wonder if anyone can help someone new to digital photography? I recently bought a Canon 10D - a real bargain now that the 20D is here - and I am massively pleased with it. I'd like to buy the Canon 10-22 lens for it but I've read that this lens only works on the 20D and 300D. Can anyone tell me if this is definitely so before I make an expensive mistake? I've checked the specs here on Steve's Digicams but both the 10D and 20D are listed as EF mounts - even the 20D which I assume must be an EF-S mount. Please help! If I can't use this lens, does anyone have any thoughts about the Sigma 12-24mm? Many thanks to anyone who replies. Keith (Nottingham, England).

The 300D and the 20D are compatible with the EF-S mount in addition to the EF mount lenses. They are currently the only two cameras that accept the EF-Sformat. You can get the 17-40L lens or a Sigma lens if you need a wider lens at a reasonable price. Don't get the S lens for your 10D!
