Ok I purchased this lens

Tamron SP AF 28-105mm F/2.8 Lens for my Rebel XT.

I bought it a day before I was turned onto this forum so I now wish i'd been able to ask in advance. So i'm hoping this will be a good lens.

Going to use it for general shooting... hoping I can just go with the 1 lens for most stuff.

I'm still waiting for it's arrival.

So any caveats with this lens?

Supposedly a good lens...I'm guessing that the newer 28-75mm XR Di lens was inspired by this model.

The only caveat is I hardly use any of my other lenses.

I love the Tamron 28-75, its my all time favorite lens!

I'm sure you'll love your Tamron!
