If the prize is not a matter, what you suggest? Now I have Tamron 28-75 f 2.8 , but I want to start using the L lenses.

24-105 now appeals more to me since I don't need 2.8 for portraits ( I really settle for F4) , and as for low - light I beleive IS of 24-105 could compensate nicely for the missing f- stops. Besides it offers longer distance in the telefoto range.

Moreover- when I shot landscapes @ F11, IS will give me advantage.
They got the same rating @ Fredmiranda (8.9).

But I've read somewere here in this forum is not so satisfied with the sharpness of the 24-105. Can anyone comment upon this?

I wouldn't like to own L lens with compromize in the sharpness department.

Anyone compared these two?
