I am thinking of selling my A620 and buying a S3 IS, but would like to know if the S3 IS is a better camera i know it has a 12x zoom, IS, but as far as image quality is it better and the size of the S3 IS how much more bigger is it than the 620 can it be put in a coat pocket like the 620 thanks.

I got my S3 a few days ago its my first camera ever, on my own "not my dads"

I can honestly say I love this camera and say you should buy one.

Circuit City website says $399 but instore they are 10% Off to $359 then PriceMatch that to Costco at $349

I can definitely see myself giving this camera to one of my kids 10 to 15 years from now, when they can understand what a camera is

And they look at it liek "oh my god its ancients its an antique it belongs in a museum"

Much the same way I looked at my dads super old cameras and said the same things

Owning my first camera ever and it doesn't use Film I'll never use film again.

My kids will probably say WTF is a memory card with 700MP cams and 1TB Memory systems
