This tip was originally posted by Snowrdr, on theDigital Camera Resource Page – Canon S2 IS Forums. I have added a detailed step by step explanation and procedure.

§ Hook up your S2 or S3 to your PC with the USB cable;

§ Start the ZoomBrowser EX;

§ Press Acquire and Camera Settings;

§ Press connect to Camera (opens a new window: CameraWindow);

§ Press the tab: Set to Camera;

§ Press Confirms/changes camera settings (opens a new window: Owner's name);

§ Enter name and press O.K.;

§ Press tab Remote Shooting;

§ Press Start Remote Shooting (opens new folder: Select Folder);

§ Select folder and press O.K. (opens a new window: RemoteCapture Task and extend the lens on the Camera ready to shoot);

§ Press Release on the RemoteCapture Task window (the camera shoot a picture);

§ Close the RemoteCapture Task window (the camera lens closes);

§ Press finish on the CameraWindow window;

§ From now on, your name will be in the EXIF data.
