Default Canon 10D or Nikon D100?

Canon 10D or Nikon D100? I need good advice: I am moving up to my first Digital SLR and was going to stay with Nikon (I have been using the Nikon 995), but was shown the Canon 10D yesterday and am tempted. I am especially interested in wildflower macro photography. One salesman even recommended I "never throw away my 995" for macro capabilities. Any suggestions out there? Thanks so much.

Didn't we just went through this? Both cameras are equally capable and you can't lose either way!

BTW I didn't "throw away" my Nikon CP990 away either... it helps me take this pictures:
