I'm exploring the assets vs liabilities of the powershot A550, A560 and A570IS.

I'm a beginner, so all three cameras have enough automatic features so I shouldn't feel overwhelmed.

The A570IS seems to be the best camera, followed by the A560 and the A550. But in looking at flickr and other photo galleries, I seem to see a difference in image quality - in favor of the A550, with the A560 second and A570IS in third. In my eyes, the A550's pictures are more saturated and the A570IS's pictures look washed out.

I was wondering if this could result from the A550's DIGIC II processor. Despite the fact that the DIGIC III is newer and touted by Canon as far superior, is it possible that the DIGIC II actually results in a more vibrant, pleasing picture?
