Default Used Digital Rebel on E-Bay

Is E-bay great or what? :?

Have a look at:

Item number: 2949769228

The item -- a digital Rebel -- is described as a "Magnificent camera. In an excellent condition. used 2 months." The photo is definately of the Rebel, judging from the various reviews.

Pretty amazing, considering they have not hit the stores yet!

I would really doubt that this is true. I would bet it's a scam. I would send notice of this to ebay.

Sigh! Hate to say this, but yes, if it sounds too good to be true, it IS. I've learned my lesson the hard way. Go directly to the sellers, and even then, read the merchant reviews thoroughly before buying anything. Call them first, then call them again, and if you don't get the answers you want, hang up.

Hopefully have just saved my sister (in England), the equivalent of a $980 travel scam on the net. She fell for the Fun Pak deal and excitedly informed me we were going on a 2 week vacation around FL and the Bahamas for 300 GBP each. After three weeks of hassle, she THINKS she might get her money back. Visa over there isn't as customer service conscious as ours.
