what better a720 is or sx 100 is ?

The the Canon A-720 and SX-100 are just about the same except:

(a) The A-720 has an optical viewfinder, the SX-100 has only the LCD screen on which to frame your photos.

(b) The A-720 has only 6X optical zoom. The SX-100 has 10X optical zoom.
