Insurance like that is designed for you to forget about it or loose the paper work. Or they'll be nasty and require you have the origional box to deliver all the little bits in!

I just put my camera equipment on my homeowners as am addition like a jewelry rider. it will cost me $58 or possibly $130 per year for $5K of insurance in case i drop or damage the equipment. it doesn't include damage by insects or vermin or war or nuclear hazards.


p.s. i forgot to mention there is no deductible. i gave copies of my receipt and thatwas that.
