Default A80 macro with flash overexposes

Can anyone give me a clue how to fix this. Maxing out the f-stop helped a little. Thanks.

Default Flash on macro

I am still experimenting with my A80. One that I did turned out ok.. You can go to Tv for a higher shutter speed perhaps. Also lower the ISO to 50. You can rig a simple little thin white paper reflector to diffuse the light and also reflect it to the ceiling if shooting indoors. This could be done with a 1" piece of cut paper with Scotch tape to hold it in place, easy to rig. It sits either flush against the flash or at a 45 deg. angle to the front surface of the camera in order to reflect the light up. Some experimenting would yield a result which could be used any time macros are needed. I just tried it, seems to work.
