Default Best G5 Memory Card?

I have a G5 and I am going to get a new memory card. What is the write speed for the g5? Would I benifit from a sandisk ultra 2 (write @ 9mg reads @ 10 mg) or does the speed not really mean anything with the G5. I will be shooting nature and sporting events so I really need my shots to be as fast as possible. I have the original 512mg sandisk (red & Blue) but I have not opened it yet so I will exchange it if needed.

Not that I have much experience with the camera because I just got it yesterday, but...

I bought the camera at BestBuy and they through in a cheap PNY 64 meg CF card with it. When taking pictures at larger, superfine it would take a couple of seconds to write the image to the card. I picked up a 512 meg SanDisk Ultra II card and I never notice any time spent writing at all, even with RAW images.

I bought my G5 with a Transcend 512 MB card. The size seems just about right. 199 shots in Super-fine large JPEG setting, or 105 in RAW. Write times haven't slowed me down in any instance.

I have since also bought another 512 MB card from SanDisk as a backup for those times when I need the extra memory before I can get back to my laptop.
