Default What has happened to Cannon?

What has happened to Cannon?
I suffer with a trembling right hand, that spasm at times when I squeeze anything. I own a A720, that is a wonderfull camera with a viewfinder that I can put up to my face to steady when my hand trembles. This works out great for me. I wanted to upgrade so I bought a Pani ZS3. Could not control it, so I sent it back. I am now looking at Cannon again for a new camera. Why have they taken the viewfinder away from all there new cameras. I want to buy a new camera upgrading from my A720, with a viewfinder, any sugestions. Thanks

The Canon A1100 IS has an optical viewfinder. Ditto for the Canon G10

If you want more optical zoom, you could move up to a slightly larger camera (for example, the Canon SX10 IS or Canon SX1 IS) and get an EVF (Electronic Viewfinder)

You might also consider the smaller Canon SD990 IS with a view finder. It also offers Manual shooting mode, and has the same sensor size as the G10.
