Default 18-135 lens

I am fairly new to digital. I bought a T1i and wondering if the 18-135 is compatable to this camera and is it a decent lens?

Canon T1i will accept any ef or ef-s lenses and pretty much all lenses made by a 3rd party for the eos system. If you are looking at the canon ef-s 18-135mm IS f3.5-5.6 lens, it will not be a problem. It would be a good all around lens for walking around. It may be a bit short on the zoom. I would look at the ef-s 18-200 Is f3.5-5.6 if you are looking for a all around lens with a better reach it is about 100 dollars more.
