Default Problems Shooting Video with Canon 60D

I've been having trouble shooting video to a Transcend 16GB class 10 SDHC card. Initially it worked find but as I've continued shooting to this card (mainly stills) and deleting files (both stills & videos) I've had problems shooting video. I start shooting and a few seconds in I get a heat warning on the right side of the LCD, the recording stops and I get a message saying "Movie recording has been stopped automatically". I've tried shooting with another (new) Trascend 16GB class 10 SDHC card and I don't have any problems. Therefore, I suspect one of three things is happening (or perhaps some combination of these three things):
1. I have a bad card.
2. Transcend cards don't work well with the Canon 60D in video mode.
3. It's necessary to have dedicated Transcend cards for shooting video.
Any thoughts, information or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

May be too obvious, but since I didn't see it in your post... Have you tried formatting the card?
