I was looking a getting a Kodak ZX5 in low light it is pretty good I found a video on youtube of this Canon in low light it is amazing. Is it possible to add a external mic to use when shooting video. Here is the video of the Canon in low light https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ATwAQNOG_fg

By all accounts,it's a pretty decent compact "all rounder"- certainly as good as any of its direct competitors. The video you show here does show one of its slight quirks- with the autofocus wandering slightly from time to time- though to be expected in low light to a degree. All in all though- a good performer.
Just a side issue- shooting low light in video mode on my SX40hs,I switch to standard def 30fps vga mode- I think it performs better.
