I think it would wind up less when you paid for it on your credit card. I don't know what the rate is, but I am sure you would pay the USA equivalent for it.
No! Canada's economy is much better than ours, and the exchange rate would be plus, not less. In fact! US dollar value against Canadian dollar is - US dollar = 0.977642% of Canadian dollar.
