Default Canon Powershot s410 vs. Nikon D1

Hi... My name is Amber Heard and I am a beginner photographer. I have the chance to get a pro Nikon D1 but I want to know if I am using it for e-bay, if it will offer me with signficantly better image quality, than say, a Canon Powershot s410. I do not mind doing the extra work to procedure the photos, etc. if this is the case.

Thanks for any advice and info.

The D1 must be close to 15 years old now...and the s410..at least 10...
Are they both in full working order...??
Both are very old in a world which advances pretty quickly...
For someone with photographic knowledge, the manual exposure ability of the D1 would be preferable to the Canon- which is effectively "auto" everything...give or take...
That said, the canon does have a flash... and may be preferable to someone with less experience... and frankly, for ebay images should be adequate...
The D1 will yield better IQ...in the right hands...
