Default Canon A75 Or S45? What Are The Advantages/Disadvantages?

I like both The A75 and the S45 as far as specs. go, but I've never owned a Digital camera so I'm not sure which one is better for me. I want a good all around camera that has some manual control so that I wont grow out of it right away. What are the Advantages/Disadvantes of these two cameras? I know the S45 has more megapixels, but I'm not going to be making poster's or anything. The biggest I would ever make is 8"x10" pics. Your opinions would be great.

Well now that the s45 is discontinued, the price is going down so it'll match the price of the a75. For the samemoney, I say go for the s45 if you can find one. more resolution, and the fact that it can shoot in RAW mode has me sold on the s45 instead of the a75.

Would you take the s45 over the A80?
