I'm just using an Olympus C-750 for about 2 months and I'm very pleased with the experience. Now, I just got the opportunity to change the Olympus I have with a brand new Canon S1 IS (no money involved).

I read a lot of reviews and discussions about both cameras (and of course I have my Olympus experience) but I need maybe some advices if this switch is worth something or should I stick to my 750.

Now, what I normally do with a digital camera is taking pictures of my son and during vacation (seaside and mountains). From what I saw the differences in favor of C-750 is the 4 Mpixel and the hot-shoe that I don't use at all (and maybe the lens are better???).

If you can give me an advice it will help me a lot in making up my mind.

THX a lot

S1 have IS, vari-angle LCD and movie at 640x480 30 fps.

The rest is...taste.:-)
