I a interested in this camera, appear to ideal for me, but I will need to shoot in sports.I read in some reviews that this camera freeze viewfinder during autofocus. I think that this discard S1 as an option for me.
Has anybody experience to shoot in sports with S1?
Is really a problem that the viewfinder freeze?

Well, it depends. In most cases, taking sports shots involves long distances. The auto-focus is usually pretty quick in bright environments but seems to take a bit longer when zoomed in. Then in this case, i would just prefocus the lens to the approximate distance using depth of field. I then don't worry about the focus lag. Also, the image stabilizer and 380mm zoom makes a BIG difference on those long range shots.

If you are going to shoot multi-frames, then following a running ball player may be an issue if you can't see where he is going. On the other hand, taking continuous shots of a baseball player at bat is no big deal since he is stationary.
