I was wondering if thereisreally a notisable diference in image quality between A and S series (for comon persons).

For example between s45,s50,s60 and a80,a95

Hope you could help me

because if it almost identical image quality i will buy a95

sorry about my lame english!

About the only operaional difference, apart from the differently styled bodies, is the "S" series offers RAW capture where the "A" series does not. I prefer the A95's ability to use rechargeable AA's, though in these compacttype bodies.

Optical quality should be pretty much even. If I were in the market for one, I would choose the A95 or A80, if I could still find a new one.
