There's no error displayed, but my A70 started flickering and is very dark; images are recorded as displayed on the LED, which is a dark hazy rendering... no focus, no color, and at best, there might be a lot of flickering. Batteries changed; lens tightened, SanDisk CF 512mb card (new) was reformatted. Have reviewed 20pages on this forum incl similar problems but no fixes available. Any suggestions? It's beyond the 1-yr warranty.

Many Thanks for any ideas/suggestions,
-Jim :?

I've encountered this problem on my A60. It's occurs inconsistently with my camera. I did find a "solution" to this problem: I lightly slam the camera (more like abump)on the table! It isn't elegant, but it works every time, at least untilit completely gives out on me. Then I'll probably move on to the S1....
