When using the S1 for video in less than ideal lighting conditions there is a lot of noise visible in the video; still pictures can be effectively de-noised with several currently available noise reduction programs like Neatimage, Noiseware and Noise Ninja; does any one know of a similar program for removing video noise (I dont mean from the audio)?

Yes, S1 produces noisy video in low light. Windows movie maker (comes free with Windows XP) can take out the noise from the .avi files. It gives a clean picture. I use it for low light videos.
