Hey all,

I have been playing around with settings on my A300. WhatI want to do is change the ISO speeds and White Balance, etc but...when I go into the FUNCTION menu, all I can choose is the picture settings like Superfine, Fine, etc, and Large, Medium 1, etc. I can see the other settings above this, but they are greyed out as though they are not available. I do have access to them (except ISO) in movie mode. This is getting frustrating....How do I access those other settings ? Is there something I am not doing or ????

Thanks for any help

hey i have the SD300 also...

what you have to do is switch the camera from auto mode to manual mode. to do this you hit the function button and scrool up to the camera icon and scroll sideways to get into manual mode. this will unlock all your manual settings

here is where you can get a .pdf of the file

Make sure you are in a mode that allows you to select ISO. You can't select the ISO speedin movie mode,Auto modeor the stitch mode.
