Default Newbie asks "How to protect A40's LCD?"

I've got a new A40 and the LCD seems to be unprotected when handling the camera and sliding it in and out of the case that I bought on eBay. It seems that just the sliding against the case isn't good plus I've had a few fingerprints too. What's the best way to clean the LCD and is there anything I should be doing to protect it? Do I use a lens cleaning tissue and/or cleaning solution? What are some basic guidelines to protect the LCD? Are the LCDs more durable than I think? Thanks!
