I noticed that there is now an A510 that is taking the place of the 75.

I had an A70 for awhile and did enjoy it. One of my concerns is that the new 510 only has 2 batteries. Has anyone used this camera yet to see how much this will affect it usage time?

With the 70 I could go for a long time taking video, using the lcd screen and taking a bunch of snaps but I am afraid with only half the batteries it onlt last half as long.

Got the 510 a few days ago. Killed the cheesy alkaline batteries it came with in half an hour. Put some NIMH rechargeable batteries in, and it has lasted 3 hours already. From what I gather, you should get between 3 and 6 hours of playback with NIMH.

I have the a510 and have taken only night shots. I bought nimh batteries, and I get 80 to 100 shots before the two batteries go dead. And I was using 1600 x 1200 or m1 mode. Remember I used the flash on every shot.
