Is it worth it to purchase the wide angle lens for the g5 canon. It's like .8 @ $150 plus an adaptor for $20. Part no. is wcdc58n.

i bought it for my g6 and love it. the adapter ring for the g6 is 55ish so i bought to the telephoto as well. using just the built in lense gets me much cleaner pictures, but since i don't often print large, it doesn't bug me too much. the wide angle adds noticable distortion in the corners and increased fringing, but, again, if you don't print huge, it shouldn't be an issue.
