Hey guys (and gals)

I have narrowed my search down to the Canon S2 and the Sony H1.

Does anyone know the flash cycle times for these two or have experience with them? I have an old sony cybershot and I feel it takes forever to cycle for the next flash picture (it's probably only like 5 seconds) is the H1 the same?

I've read the S2 has a 10 second cycle time! 10 freaking seconds! Have real world users found this to be true?

I'm leaning more towards the S2 b/c of A) Cheaper Memory ($90 1GB Memory Stick v. $60 1GB SD) and B) Size. The H1 is pretty big compared to the S2

Your friendly opinions are comments are appreciated and welcomed! Especially about the flash!

Imaging-resourcemeasured the H1 full-power flash cycle time at 9s. It's a pretty powerful flash for a built-in, more powerful than the S2 or FZ5.

The H1 doesn't seem that much bigger than the S2. Take a look at these side-by-side shots: http://www.steves-digicams.com/2005_...s/sony_h1.html

I guess the H1 lens protrudes from the body a bit more.
