hi, i owned G6 for about 1 year now,
and thinking of changging to S80 because of smaller camera and the "wide" angle lens,
do u think its wise to do so ?
is the s80 a better camera than the G6 ???
and how does the lens compared in terms of wide angle and the brightness ??
thx :P

G6 with F/2 can catch much more light than S80,

S80 like A620 seems to have a new sensor model, but it can't

takes advantage of f/2 lens for brightness;

the 28mm is clearly a great feature, my girlfriend had an EOS300 with 28mm and we took sometimes the same landscapes photos, 28mm makes the difference.

your choice should be lowlight photos or landscape/short rooms,

this for the Photographic part, other features can convince you (XVGA videos for s80?....),

increasing ISO compensate F/2 and panorama stitching, the wide angle.
