Default Do I use a 1mb microdrive in a powershot G2?

Just a quick question.

I'm on the verge of purchasing a canon powershot G2 but am a little concerned over the limited storage capacity of the CF memory cards.
I have seen reports of being able to use microdrives for storing many times more images than a memory card. Has anyone any experience in using microdrives especially in conjunction with the G2?

Thanks for your help.

Yes you can use the microdrive, but the cost of flashes is now on par with the device, at least for the standard flash hence there's no significant saving as was the case before: http://www.stevesforums.com/phpBB2/v...082&highlight=
