I'm going to pick up an A610 in the next week or so, and was wondering whether it is a good idea to consider an extended warranty? I usually avoid these things, but the E18 error is always in the back of my mind.So far though, I haven't noticed anyone complain about it in the A610. I guess Canon's standard warranty is 1 year. Would anyone get a 2year warranty for $50 extra? Any thoughts?

It exists in A610 but only when you stop the lens from protruding bruteforce. I have simulated it twice with my shorter-than-needed adapter tube and tele converters last week. If it isn't too serious everything will recover after you restart the camera.
