Default s230 movies

This may sound like a silly question, but i'm a newbie. I'm about to purchase a Canon s230, and am curious as to whether the movie length is dependent on the flash card size, or if it's preset into the actual camera programing?

The s230 review states...
"640 x 480 pixels (Approx. 30 sec.)**...

** The data in parentheses refer to the maximum movie length per shooting"

I'm assuming this number is generated using the 16mb card the camera comes with? If I throw in a 256meg card, will I be able to record until it's full, or will it stop after 30 seconds regardless of free space avaliable?

Thanks for the read!
Appreciate any response... I'd like to buy this tommarow!

Dear SLR,

each movie, at 640x480, is limited to being 30 sec. Each of these movies consumes approx. 20 MB on your card (roughly). So you can use this as a guage for how many you'd be able to fit on a particular size CF card. BTW, I love the 640x480 movie mode. It's awesome!!
