Last fall I was looking at the digicams at an electronics store and they had a Canon A95 on display.

I wasn't going to buy one then, but the salesperson offered to give me 10% off because the newer models were already available and another 10% off because it was a display unit.

I looked at the camera, cleaned the fingerprints off the lens, and told him to wrap it up. He even found the original box and manuals, cables, everything.

After reading so many bad things about Canon cameras (E18 problems, broken LCD screens, etc.) I started to wonder if I did the right thing by buying it.

I'm happy to report that, after several months, no problems yet.

I owned the A95 for several months, 6 to be exact, I loved that camera! I sold it and bought it's replacement the Canon A610, which in my opinion takes better pictures in door and at night, also is faster and 2" Variable LCD. Much better camera! But the A95 is still a good one! I miss it
