I just happend to notice there seems to be a small dust fleck or two INSIDE the lense of my S2. Being new to digital photography, is this a terrible thing, noticable and, or common. Anybody else have a tiny fleck inside the S2? Mine is roughly just above center.

Mine's spotless.

Sounds like a manufacturing fault - how else could dust get in there.

I had that on the first A610 I bought.. That's why it's important when you get a new camera to check.. This happens with any manufatuer.. Hopefully the camera is still new, so you can exchange without going through warrenty.. because it's a defective flaw.. not something that 'happens'.

When I got my S2, that's the first thing I checked.. I aslo took photos against a black backround and a plain white backround to check for shadows, dead pixels, etc.
