Default Objective shadows AF-assistlight (A60)

I just found out that the AF-assist light gets shadowed when the objective is fully extended on the A60. Because of that, the AF-assist can't help to get at focus from time to time. The question is: Where could the AF-assist light have been placed instead. Maybe this is a common problem with AF-assist lights and long objectives? After using the cam for about a week now, this together with problems to find focus and small objects in macromode is actually the only things I have to complain about on the marvolous camera! =) Forget what I told you about lightproblems and so on...it works fine. Oh, well..there is one other problem: The TFT screen seems to get black for about a millisecond or so - I'm not sure if this is how the camera should behave, but it seems strange to me. Have a nice weekend!

Ps. A60 and A70 are exactly the same camera exept for it's max resolution AND that the A70 can record movies in 640 x 480. it also has some other colorcombination...on the camera that is. =)
