I would like to take my friend picture who standing around 2 meter away from me.

He stand there (without moving) in front of beautiful night scene. so

--> what is recommended shooting mode to allow me to get good object as well as can capture good background without loosing the brightness of lights ? is it Tv (set to 1 sec) or P mode or even can set to "night scene" mode ?

--> Can Iset my camera to slow sync with external speedlite 420ex which attached with stofen omni, angle 45 deg tilted up, is it correct ? Do I need to unable this slow sync while taking night scene photo ? what happen if my currect setting is disable this mode ?

--> What is the different between 1st curtain and 2nd curtain ( I read from manual book this mode is only applicable for moving subject, is it correct ?) and when should I use this mode ?Can I set to2nd curtain although my object is not moving ?

--> is ISO 200 enough higher ISO will cause distortion ? I am using Pro-1

Pls help to enligten me. Thank you in advance
