My question is for Canon SD700 IS owners. Can you crop a still image (in-camera)and therefore create a new image? I know that I can zoom in on an image and then move around but can I then save that as a new image? This is something I enjoy doing with my current Nikon coolpix 5200. It seems like many of my pictures benefit from just a slight cropping ie; zooming in a bit and/or centering the image better. I know that the image quality is somewhat degraded but when you start at 5 or 6 mp's, I can usually still get a good image at 3 mp after the crop.

I've never owned a Canoncamerabut the SD700 ISwill probablychange that. Forgive my ignorence if it is a well known fact amongPowershot owners that this in-camera cropping is not an option to them. And I realize too that I can zoom and crop as printing options. I plan on buying one soon either way but just wondered if this camera had that option.
